I'm anxious to read about our fictional past.I encourage you to do this on your blog, so I can post some made-up memories about you too! Do you remember the christmas we went to a lodge in Kentucky with our families? Our parents were university friends who hadn't seen each other in years, and they thought it would be fun to get together this particular year and catch up.
Anyway, they rented this fabulous lodge on a mountain, hidden in the trees. It was so cozy and we had lots of fun in the snow. Christmas eve, we had been tucked into our little beds. After everyone else had retired you and I woke up and as we were chatting away, we were sure that we saw Santa in the next room. We decided to go investigate, and upon hearing us awake, our parents came out only to discover us sitting in the ashes in the fireplace looking way up! I'm quite sure that if they hadn't come out we would have got to spend some time with the old guy as he seemed pretty tired and would have probably enjoyed a rest.

do you remember years ago, when we were working on the shark movie with that kid steve. he couldn't get that stupid mechanical shark to work and you suggested we try and work around it, maybe not actually filming the shark, you thought it would make it more of a surprise element. we would watch the dailies and none of us were ever sure if we would be able to find an audience to watch this movie, but we persisted and finally, steve had a little faith in us. it was so great to see that movie go on and break all those records and know that it was your suggestion that really made it work. all that hard work paid off when we got to go and work with jim on that kate and leo iceberg movie too. good times.

It was dawning. The sun had not come out yet but it was not dark anymore. We walked side by side feeling the warm breeze of summer air brush our faces. The trees were standing above us looking ever so tall. We knew we were going to get caught, however we still walked slowly as if nothing mattered.

The night before we had spent out in the park was enough to keep us going. We shared everything. Every story, every fear, every love, every hate. Nothing could tear such good friends apart.

We were children, we didn't know it then. We didn't know how people grow up and we didn't know much about life. What we did know was that we were always going to be inseparable. You and me, the trees, the stories.

Do you remember? I still do.

Do you remember when Chrissy and Jack were stuck in the bathroom and we thought they were, you know, ahem, otherwise engaged?

Then Mr. Roper came in and we heard him because Mrs. Roper's fake jewellery was making all that noise as she climbed the stairs.

Ah, good times. Michele says so.

Remember that one time at band camp...oh you said PG.

Do you remember the time we got caught under the Yacona river bridge with beer? I will never forget. We used to go there every Saturday night just to hand with our friends. I guess the bon fire scared some of the people living nearby because they called the police. Here we were drinking beer and skinny dipping in the river when 2 cop cars pulled up. Man were we scared. Good thing we were in the water because I think we both wet ourselves. Thank goodness our band director's husband was one of the cops because he let us off with a warning and confiscated the beer. My mom and dad never found out about that...did yours?

This one's making the rounds.

Oh! The time we decided to make sidewalk art in the middle of town, and almost got arrested for not having a permit! Good times!

remember when we were cheated off each other on all our math exams in Grade 11? And how we both got the EXACT same marks, made the EXACT same mistakes...and FAILED?! (But didn't get caught?)
I hated Math, but it was fun anyway because we were sat beside each other at the very back of the class, and passed notes the whole time.
Remember?!

I played this the other day...MAN I'd forgotten all about some stuff. :)

Say, you remember that time when we decided to go to that open call to audition for a movie? And when we got there we found out it was a porno...and you decided to go ahead & audition and got the lead role?
I still have that video tape. :)
I'm thinking of putting it on a website & charging $4.99/minute to view it...don't worry, you'll get your share. :)

Here from Michele's! :)

Remember when we were walking our dogs down by the lake and your dog got off the leash and chased that cat all the way out to that huge rock in the middle of the lake? We had to tie my dog up to a tree, and then we both waded out through that water that was cold and not too clean (yuck, the smell was so gross). We managed to corral
Sparky and coax the poor, soggy cat back to the shore. Fortunately, it was Spring, so it wasn't too cold. We went back to my house and stripped down in the garage because our clothes were too stinky to even think about bringing into the house. We ordered pizza and drank too much beer and couldn't stop laughing the rest of the night!

Do you remember that time that we entered that pie eating contest--underwater at the aquarium? 2 minutes under the sea never tasted so yummy. I'm glad you won.
